Why does a perfect God, who has the mental ability to create the universe and everything in it, need for us to live in fear of him, kill our first born child, etc?
Because in spite of his omnipotence, he's still incredibly insecure.
alot of people are saying god is cruel for killing the firstborns and animals and people in the ten plagues.
but didn't god achieve his goal of making nations and people be in fear of him?.
Why does a perfect God, who has the mental ability to create the universe and everything in it, need for us to live in fear of him, kill our first born child, etc?
Because in spite of his omnipotence, he's still incredibly insecure.
sources within heaven have revealed to us that jesus h christ intends to run for what would become his 26th term in office as ruler of the galaxy.. since his first term began in 1914 he's been unopposed in office despite, many say, failing to deliver on any of his pre-election promises.
they point to promises of "an end to death and eternal life for all" as being unrealistic given the funding given to healthcare as just one of many examples.. critics say the elections themselves are rigged and in fact no one even gets to case a vote because his father simply declares him the winner.
they believe that have proof that this was planned for some time in what many are calling "biblegate" and point to basic un standardsfor democracy which haven't been lived up to.. many of his supporters thought that his 16th term beginning in 1975 would define his rulership but they lost faith when his party later blamed them for having "unrealistic expectations".. "i did originally support him", says one man who didn't want to be identified for fear of reprisals, "but i'm starting to grow old and now think i'll die without ever seeing any of the changes his promised to enact".. we tried to contact the heaven party to ask when he planned to do any of the things he promised.
This is why I believe in term limits.
i know many have suffered to varying degrees at the hands of this cult.
one of the first casualties is our self- esteem.
our awakening takes us all on different paths.
Well, Old Man Jaracz was pretty paranoid about a "Vast Apostate Army" poised to strike at the heart of the Org.
Well that's one thing they got right. Once in 140 years isn't bad, I guess.
im recalling a time when i sat and circled words in a watchtower article, indicating strongly the fact that it is in fact the writters opinion.. however just the suggestion in the sentence these words are ignored.. for example.
it is our understanding.
we believe this to be the case.
I think that it's a skill they've been forced to finetune over the years due to one prophetic failure after another.
were they pretty much a good group of men?
we're they jerks?.
We had a few that were decent enough guys. But they were eventually phased out by a CO who was a total company man. He did some "housecleaning" in our circuit.
just getting a jump on the holiday season!!
i figure that i will post this every year for discussion.
these were my observations when learning ttatt.
But the correct way of thinking is like this: Joseph and Mary went from Nazareth to Bethlehem. Then, after seeing the Magi, they left Bethlehem and went to Egypt, and after Herod died they went back to their point of origin, namely Nazareth. It's all bullshit.

true confession - i'm kind of a geek, always loved star wars and it gave me a bit of a lady boner.
anyone who knows the franchise is probably familiar with the character wedge antilles.
I really thought the franchise peaked with Empire. It was hands down the best one. There were some great moments in Jedi, but I agree that the Ewoks ruined it. I'm hoping JJ Abrams can actually breathe some new life into it, and not just make it about the visual effects.
the latest blast of "jehovah's trumpet" warns us about the irrational nature of common superstitions.... the article then goes on to provide counsel on the dangers of the domonic attacks that often result from unwisely purchasing second-hand objects.
the risk is demonstrated by recounting the real-life story of poor sister lemming and her new ministry bag.. genius satire as always!
please take some time to read the community comments.. .
Brilliant. It's like The Onion for apostates.
i don't read too much about sports on the forum.
one of the great things about being out of wally world is enjoying sports without judgement.
i love college football and this, to me is the greatest college football day!
I know it doesn't have the luster of Alabama-Auburn, but Wisconsin-Minnesota is the game I'm going to be watching today. Oldest rivalry in college football, and it's for the Big Ten west title. The first time in over 50 years that there's been that much at stake.
Go Badgers!
